THIXOCLEAN is a water dilutable solvent cleaner which forms a stable emulsion with water and clings to surfaces when sprayed on. Its' controlled spray application avoids splash back, a hazard associated with conventional solvent products when applied in this manner.
THIXOCLEAN was developed as a safer alternative to traditional heavy-duty solvent cleaners, which can only be used neat and therefore will run off vertical surfaces causing wastage and pollution. THIXOCLEAN overcomes this problem. When diluted with water and sprayed onto vertical surfaces, it stays in place to work longer and more effectively without further application. Its cream emulsion appearance ensures visual coverage is complete. When jetted off with water, the emulsified soil is easily contained for further dilution and soil separation. Unlike conventional solvent cleaners, THIXOCLEAN can be re-applied to a WET surface to continue working efficiently should the degree of soiling require a further application of diluted product.
THIXOCLEAN can also be used as a conventional solvent cleaner in a dip-tank or via a brush applicator.
Where to use it: Garage forecourts, workshops, road vehicle engines, oil tanks, sea going oil tankers, ships bilges, dock yards handling oil and tar products, underframe and bogie cleaning
vehicle bodywork, heavily contaminated machinery, difficult to access areas of machinery, anywhere solvent cleaning causes odour, flammability and effluent problem.
