Sodaklenz has been developed to meet the need for a heavy duty product for the removal of grease, oil, dirt, phosphate etc. from nuts, bolts, small parts etc.  It is particularly effective hot i.e. 80-90^oC where it is virtually non-foaming. Sodaklenz is comprised of a blend of sodium hydroxide together with a synergistic organic builder, sequestering agent and low foam surface active agent, which gives only a small amount of foam at ambient temperatures and is potentially non-foaming above 50^oC.                                

Sodaklenz can be used as a spray cleaner or for dip tank applications for the removal of heavy deposits of greases, fats and oils within most engineering environments. Sodaklenz may also be used within the food processing and catering industries where removal of heavy fat deposits and grease is required.  Common examples are: Within deep fat fryers constructed of stainless steel  (not aluminium), in C.I.P. systems, for continuous equipment cleansing or plastic drum reprocessing.
