Oxal Wash

Oxal-Wash is an oxalic acid based cleaner for train exteriors. It has been assessed by Scientific Services and found suitable for use as described below on rolling stock, underground trains, UK train operating companies and main UK train builders operating maintenance contracts.

Oxal-Wash is formulated to remove iron salt stains, limescale and other inorganic staining from all exterior liveries of rolling stock, either via carriage wash equipment or by manual methods.

 Where the inorganic staining is covered by a substantial layer of grease or oil it may be necessary to use Arrow Eco Trainwash to remove this first before cleaning with Oxal Wash.

Can be used via automatic washing equipment or via brush and bucket. It should not be allowed to dry until it has been thoroughly rinsed!
